*It's use during Episode Battle is merely to replace any of the moves that Goku learns from King Kai (in this case, X20 Kaioken Kamehameha) to better fit in with the current storyline.
Origin:[]
The Kamehameha (かめはめ lit. "Kamehame Wave") is a ki attack formed when the user draws their hands to their side and ki is concentrated into a single point between their palms. The hands are then thrust forward to shoot out a streaming beam of energy. It is the most common and recognizable attack in the Dragon Ball series, being the signature move of the Turtle School, performed by it's creator Master Roshi and all of his students; most famously Son Goku, the main character of the series.
It is first used in the anime and manga by Master Roshi during the Pilaf Saga in order to extinguish the flames at Ox-King's home on Fire Mountain, though it ends up destroying the mountain instead. Shortly after, Goku would learn the technique simply by looking at it once, shocking the Turtle Hermit who claimed it took him 50 years to master the technique himself.
It would then become Goku's signature attack that he would use throughout the series, and would later be learned by his family and allies, such as Krillin, Yamcha and his two sons Gohan and Goten, as well as by some enemies like Cell, Majin Buu and Goku Black.
